The Monteath Hills are a group of mountains in the Victory Mountains of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . They are bounded by the Jutland , Midway , Pearl Harbor and Plata Glaciers . These include Mount Crowder , Mount Tararua, and Mount Holdsworth .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1983 after Colin Monteath, who is responsible for field research activities in Antarctica in the New Zealand Department of Scientific and Industrial Research .
