The Montes Aguayo ( Spanish ; in Argentina Los Pozos for 'The Fountains') are a group of nunataks in the center of Joinville Island off the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula .

Chilean scientists named it after the Chilean veterinarian and marine biologist Anelio Aguayo Lobo (* 1933) from the Universidad de Chile , who participated in the 20th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1965-1966) in the first census on the mammal population in this area.
