The Moorweiher in Oberstdorf in the Allgäu is located between the north underlying madder Mountain and the southern mountain servant. The moor pond can be reached either from the St. Loretto chapels or from the mill bridge over Krappberg. A nature trail with information boards on plants, animals and geology leads around the moor pond. In the immediate vicinity is the mud bath with real moor water, a Kneipp treading pool, large sunbathing lawn, children's pool and playground.
In winter, when the water surface is frozen, there is regular ice stock sport or stand archery.
