Moritz Müller (painter, 1807)
Carl Friedrich Moritz Müller , called Feuermüller (born May 6, 1807 in Dresden , † November 8, 1865 in Munich ) was a German painter . He was the father of the painter Moritz Müller the Elder . He became known for his genre representations illuminated with artificial light .
Life
Müller studied at the Dresden Academy from 1821 . Before moving to Munich in 1830, he worked as a portrait painter in Zittau .
Moritz Müller has been an honorary member of the Dresden Academy since 1868.
