Edgar Rai

Edgar Rai , pseudonyms Moritz Matthies, Leon Morell, (* 1967 in Hessen ) is a German writer and translator. He lives in Berlin , where he has been co-owner of the bookstore "Uslar & Rai" since 2012.

Edgar Rai read on 23 August 2016 in the Düsseldorf City Library from his novel “Something always stays”.

He studied musicology and English in Marburg and Berlin. From 2003 to 2008 he taught as a lecturer for creative writing at the Free University of Berlin .
