Moritz Schultheiss
Moritz Schultheiß (* 1976 in Cologne ) is a German cameraman .
Life
After graduating from high school and doing community service in Bavaria, Moritz Schultheiß completed a degree in innovation marketing and, at the same time, camera technology training at FGV Schmidle Munich. In 2006 he began studying cinematography at the Hamburg Media School , which he completed in 2009 with the HMS graduation short film Şores & Şîrîn (director: Katrin Gebbe ). This film was invited to the student competition of the Cinematografer Festival Camerimage in Lodz , not least because of Schultheiss's performance in 2009 . There he was nominated for the Golden Tadpole (the main prize there is translated as Golden Frog ).
He then started working as a camera assistant before making his debut as a cameraman for a feature film in 2010 with the horror film Ramming ram, directed by Marvin Kren .
