Moritz Leon Sachso Trieb (born April 17, 1998 in Augsburg ) is a German basketball player .

career

Trieb comes from the youth department of TSV Nördlingen . In the 2013/14 season he completed his first short assignments for the club's men's team in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB . After Nördlingen's relegation to the first regional league, he received significantly more time in the fourth-highest division and was named the best newcomer of the 2014/15 season in the first regional league south-east by the internet service eurobasket.com . In that season Trieb also won the championship title with the Nördlingers and rose again to the ProB.

In June 2016 he was signed by Bundesliga club Medi Bayreuth . Trieb made his Bundesliga debut on October 14, 2016 against Braunschweig, but played mostly in Bayreuth's second men's team in the first regional league. After the end of the 2016/17 game year, he withdrew from competitive sports in order to concentrate on his medical studies.

National team

In 2016 he was part of the German squad in the U18 age group, but missed the jump into the squad for the EM. In the summer of 2017 Trieb was appointed to the German men's national team in the basketball variant "3 against 3" .
