Moritz von Horstig
Moritz von Horstig (born October 1, 1851 in Geiselbach , Lower Franconia , † August 1, 1942 in Wiesbaden ) was a German royal Bavarian government building officer and architect .
He had been married to Berta Nadler since September 28, 1882. The couple had two children: Friederike (born August 30, 1883) and Edmund von Horstig (born February 13, 1885).
The parish churches of St. Oswald in Traunstein and St. Peter and Paul in Olching were built according to his plans . When the architect was in the Trentino Dolomites at the beginning of the 20th century , he offered the plans for the Olching sacred building to the parish in Arco . Thereupon a "twin church" with the name Sta. Maria Addolorata , which was inaugurated on September 22, 1907.
