Career

Peterson began his career with the NCAA college team at Michigan State University , whose Spartans he led to the 2000 NCAA Division I Basketball Championship . In 2001 he was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team .

After the departure of Vince Carter he took over the position of small forward in the Toronto Raptors team and was a nominal starter for years.

He has improved quickly and is now starting for the Raptors. In the NBA 05/06 season he had an average score of 17 points, with 5 rebounds and 2 assists.

For the 2010/11 NBA season he moved to the Oklahoma City Thunder, in which he only played 4 games. Since the 2011/12 NBA season, he was no longer in their squad.
