The Morsbach is a small brook in Kufstein . It rises east of the Pfrillsee below the Marblinger Höhe and flows into the Inn in the Kufstein district of Zell . It is the last left tributary of the Inn on the Austrian side.
In 2005, the creek spilled twice due to heavy rains in July and August, but did not cause much damage. Nevertheless, the Pfrillsee outflow was re-regulated in 2006 and the Morsbach was built to prevent such situations in the future. In 2008 the ÖBB also rebuilt the confluence with the Inn, which is located under or directly next to the railway tracks.
