Morten Søgaard (born December 3, 1956 ) is a Norwegian curler and Olympic champion .

Søgaard made his international debut at the 1974 World Cup in Bern , but he remained without a medal. In 1976 he won his first precious metal with the bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in Aviemore .

Søgaard played as the second of the Norwegian team in the XV. 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics in curling. Skip Eigil Ramsfjell's team won the Olympic gold medal after a 10-2 win in the final against Switzerland under Skip Hansjörg Lips . Since curling was still a demonstration sport at that time, the medal has no official status.
