Moses Cheboi

Moses Kipkemboi Cheboi (born January 4, 1970 in Baringo District ) is a Kenyan politician of the Jubilee Party (JP), who is currently deputy spokesman for the National Assembly .

Life

Moses Kipkemboi Cheboi attended the DEB Primary School in Olenguruone between 1977 and 1982 and then from 1983 to 1986 the high school in Kabarnet and most recently from 1987 to 1988 the Moi High School in Kabarak . In 1990 he began studying law at the University of Nairobi , which he completed in 1993 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.). A subsequent post-graduate studies in law at the Kenya School of Law he joined in 1994 with a diploma. He then began his professional career in 1995 as a lawyer for the city council of Nakuru , but in 1996 he became a managing partner of the law firm Cheboi & Company Advocates .

In 2002 Cheboi became a member of the National Assembly for the first time and represented the constituency of Kuresoi until 2007 . He was a member of the Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs. On March 5, 2003, he became a member of the Constitutional Review Committee . He was director of the Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation between 2009 and 2012 and was a member of the Center for Multi Party Democracy (CMPD) between 2010 and 2012 . He has been a member of the National Assembly again since March 2013, where he represents the interests of the Kuresoi North constituency . In the legislative period from 2013 to 2017 he was a member of the Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs and at the same time the first chairman of the committee chairman's committee. Since 2017 he is member of Procedure and the Rules Committee, Chairman of the Liaison Committee and Deputy Speaker (Deputy Speaker) of the National Assembly.
