Moshe Ram

Moshe Ram (born January 1946 ) is an Israeli diplomat .

Ram served in the Israel Defense Forces for three years from 1963 . He then studied Political Science and Middle East Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and received his Bachelor of Arts in 1971 . From 1975 Ram was employed in the Israeli Foreign Ministry.

From 1977 to 1980 he was Second Secretary at the Israeli Embassy in Kathmandu , Nepal . From 1980 to 1983 he was first secretary at the Israeli embassy in Manila , Philippines . From 1987 to 1990 Ram served as Israel's Deputy Consul General in Los Angeles . During his further diplomatic career, he was, among other things, the Israeli consul general in Shanghai from 1994 to 1996 and the Israeli consul general in Chicago from 2001 to 2005 .

In 2007, Ram became the Israeli ambassador to Nigeria and a non-resident ambassador to Ghana . He is also accredited with the West African Economic Community .

Ram has two children.
