program

In numerous magazines and report formats, Motorvision TV shows the latest car models, classic old and youngtimers, the wide range of all-wheel-drive vehicles, high-quality noble bodies, souped-up tuning vehicles and trends in the motorcycle market, as well as background reports on motorsport, road safety, mobile travel, design, used cars and the latest innovations in the field of environmentally friendly cars of the future.

In February 2012 it was announced that the Daytona 500 and at least ten other races of the NASCAR Sprint Cup would be broadcast live exclusively in German-speaking countries, plus all ten Chase-for-the-Sprint-Cup races. For all races that were not shown live, a one-hour summary was broadcast on Mondays. Commentators on the NASCAR broadcasts (or speakers of the highlights) are Lenz Leberkern , Mario Fritzsche , Pete Fink and Stefan Heinrich . Because the Daytona 500 2012 had to be postponed for a day due to rain and a collision between (ex-) NASCAR driver Juan Pablo Montoya with a track drying vehicle, motorsport expert Jacques Schulz was even used as a guest commentator.

In September 2012 the station revised its program structure and introduced themed days. For example, while entertainment formats such as Top Gear and Top Gear USA are on the program on Mondays , on Tuesdays everything revolves around classic cars. Infotainment formats are set on Wednesdays, and on Thursdays, feature films related to a car are shown for the first time at Motorvision. The weekend starts on Fridays with the Lifestyle theme day, followed by action and stunt programs on Saturdays, including the Stunt Heroes format developed together with action concept . Sunday is all about motorsport.

In 2014, Motorvision TV showed 25 of NASCAR's 36 Sprint Cup races , during which it was announced that it had secured the rights to the first NASCAR division up to and including 2017.

Motorvision TV has been broadcasting all 36 championship races of the Sprint Cup live since 2015, and the Truck Series races are also broadcast as highlights. The Sprint Unlimited and the All-Star Race will also be shown in highlight form.
