Mount Alekseyev ( Russian Гура Алексеевой ) is a mountain in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It rises 10 km northeast of the McNaughton Ridges in the Scott Mountains .
The mountain was named by participants in a Soviet Antarctic expedition at the beginning of the 1960s after the Soviet pilot Anatoly Alexejew (1902–1974). The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) transferred this designation into English after a geographical position correction in 1968, which was adopted by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names in 1971 .
