Mount Allen is a 3430 m high mountain in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 8 km southeast of Mount Craddock in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1957 and 1959. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after Lieutenant Forrest M. Allen of the US Navy Reserve Forces , co-pilot on aerial reconnaissance flights from the Byrd- Station from 1957 to 1958.
