Mount Ashworth is a 2060 m high mountain peak in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises about 6.5 km east-northeast of Mount Ford in the Bowers Mountains .
Participants in the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions in 1962 under Phillip Law named him after Norman F. Ashworth, squadron leader of the Royal Australian Air Force , who led the flight over Antarctica during this expedition .
