Mount Bartlett is an ice-free mountain with a height of 2560 m , which is located in the Transantarctic Mountains about four kilometers north of Buckley Island at the top of the Beardmore Glacier .
The mountain was discovered by participants in the Nimrod expedition (1907-1909) led by the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton . It is named after Herbert Henry Bartlett (1842–1921), a sponsor of this expedition.
