Mount Bolt is a 2010 m high mountain in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises in the Anare Mountains on the northern flank of Ebbe Glacier and 5 miles northwest of Peterson Bluff .
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) mapped it on the basis of its own measurements of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 and 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1964 after Lieutenant Ronald L. Bolt (1933-2011), pilot of one Douglas C-47 Skytrain R4D in support of the USGS survey work in this area between 1962 and 1963.
