Mount Boman is a 1630 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises between the Tranter and Doss glaciers in the northern part of the Queen Elizabeth Range of the Transantarctic Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis own Tellurometervermessungen and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from the years between 1960 and 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names renamed it in 1966 to William M. Boman, engineer of the United States Antarctic Research Program on on Roosevelt Island (1962–1963) and at McMurdo Station in the Antarctic winter of 1965.
