Mount Boyer is around 1500 m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland. It rises about 1.5 km southwest of Mount Becker in the Merrick Mountains .
It was mapped by surveys of the United States Geological Survey and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1961 and 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after Francis C. Boyer (1924-2006), a medic in the US Navy and as Chief Petty Officer Head of Eights Station in 1964.
