Mount Brazil is a 2090 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It looms in the Admiralty Mountains at the southern end of the McGregor Range .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1964 after John Elmer Brazil (1926-2010), helicopter pilot in the US Navy in support of the Survey in surveying this area.
