Mount Carrara is a 1770 m high mountain in the center of the Sky-Hi-Nunatakker in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names renamed it in 1985 after the US geologist Paul Edward Carrara (* 1947) from the United States Geological Survey , which a team of Survey to explore the area between the Sky-Hi-Nunatakkern and Orville Coast belonged and in January 1978 climbed this mountain for the first time with two companions.
