Mount Circe is a striking and over 2000 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Olympus Range it rises immediately north of Mount Dido .
Scientists from a 1958 to 1959 campaign of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions named him after Circe , a sorceress from Greek mythology .
