Mount Conrad is a 600 m high and somewhat inconspicuous mountain in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Wilson Hills it rises 10 km south of Cape Kinsey in the center of the Goodman Hills .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after the American pilot Max Conrad (1903-1979), who was in the same Year was the first solo flight to the geographic South Pole.
