Mount Dam is a snowy and 1130 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises up between the Heidemann Glacier and the Nottarp Glacier in the Queen Elizabeth Range .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using tellurometer surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after the biologist Robert Damm, who was part of the United States Antarctic Research Program from 1963 until 1964 worked on the McMurdo station .
