Mount Deakin is a 2810 m high and prominent mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises immediately north of the glacier mouth of the Osicki Glacier on the eastern flank of the Beardmore Glacier .
The mountain was discovered by participants in the Nimrod expedition (1907-1909) under the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton . It is named after Alfred Deakin (1856–1919), then Australian Prime Minister.
