The Mount Deborah is a 3761 m high mountain in the Alaska Range in Alaska (USA). The mountain was named in 1907 by J. Wickersham after his wife, Deborah Bell Wickersham.
geography
The mountain is located in the eastern part of the Alaska Range, 88 km east-northeast of Cantwell and 91 km east of Healy . The southeast flank is drained by the West Fork Glacier , the west flank by the Yanert Glacier and the northeast flank by the Gillam Glacier . Mount Hayes, 25.9 km to the east, forms the reference point for dominance .
Ascent history
On June 19, 1954, Fred Beckey , Henry Meybohm and Heinrich Harrer managed to climb Mount Deborah for the first time via the south ridge.
