Mount Elizabeth is a massive, ice-free and 4480 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Alexandra chain it rises about 11 km south of Mount Anne .
The mountain was discovered during the Nimrod Expedition (1907-1909) under the direction of the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton and named after Elizabeth Dawson-Lambton (1836-unknown), a private donor to support the research trip.
