Mount Fonda is a 695 m high mountain in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . It rises 10 km south of Greegor Peak in the northwest part of the Swanson Mountains in the Ford Ranges .
Scientists from the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) mapped it. It is named after Howard Breese Fonda (1896–1964), who had provided medical supplies to the first (1928–1930) and second Antarctic expeditions (1933–1935) of the US polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd .
