Mount Forecast is a 1,864 m high mountain with multiple peaks in the east Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It rises 1.5 km northeast of Mount Brown-Cooper and 20 km southwest of Mount Pollard in the Prince Charles Mountains .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956 to 1965 were used for mapping purposes. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named the mountain after Mark James Forecast (1940-2015), a weather observer at Wilkes Station in 1965.
