The Mount Frissell is a mountain in the mountains of the Appalachian Mountains on the border of the US states, Massachusetts and Connecticut , near the border with the state of New York . Its summit with a height of 748 m is in Massachusetts.
The south slope of the mountain is located in Mount Riga State Park near the city of Salisbury . Although the summit is not in Connecticut, the highest point in this state is on the southern slope of Mount Frissell at an altitude of 725 m.
