Mount Gillet ( French Mont Gillet ) is a 2460 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises just north of Mount Van der Essen in the Belgica Mountains .
Participants in the Belgian Antarctic Expedition in 1957/58 under Gaston de Gerlache de Gomery (1919-2006) discovered him. The namesake is the French entrepreneur Charles Gillet, a sponsor of the research trip.
