Mount Gleaton is a 2,130 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Admiralty Mountains, it rises above the Tucker Glacier near the end of a ridge north of the Helman Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1960 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1964 after Chief Warrant Officer Clarence Eugene Gleaton Jr. (1925-2016) of the United States Army , helicopter pilot in support of the USGS's work in the area between 1961 and 1962.
