Mount Goodman is a 1000 m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It marks the northeastern extension of the Behrendt Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Alan L. Goodman, aurora researcher at Eights Station in 1963.
