Mount Gorecki is a 1110  m high mountain in the West Antarctic Queen Elizabeth Land . In the Neptune Range of the Pensacola Mountains, it rises on the southeastern foothills of the Schmidt Hills .

Participants in the United States Navy's transcontinental non-stop Antarctic flight on January 13, 1956 from McMurdo Sound to the Weddell Sea and back discovered him and photographed him. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1957 after Francis Gorecki, radio operator on board the P2V-2N Neptune , with which this flight was accomplished.
