Mount Granholm is a 2440 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 14 km southeast of Mount Pittard in the northwest part of the Admiralty Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after the American biologist Nels H. Granholm of the United States Antarctic Research Program , who worked at the Hallett station from 1967 to 1968 .
