Mount Pittard is a 2410  m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 20 km east of the northern part of the Homerun Range in the Admiralty Mountains .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after the American biologist Donald A. Pittard of the United States Antarctic Research Program , who worked at the McMurdo station from 1966 to 1967 and from 1967 to 1968 .
