Mount Harwood is a 1040 m high mountain on the Pennell coast of East Antarctica Victoria Land . It towers north of the Anare Mountains over the Gregory Bluffs on the east bank of the Nielsen Fjord .
Participants of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions named him after Thomas R. Harwood, deputy leader of the 1962 campaign of this expedition series with the ship Thala Dan , in whose target area this mountain is located.
