Félix César da Cunha Vasconcellos OFM (born May 25, 1904 in Dores de Camanque , Rio Grande do Sul , Brazil ; † July 12, 1972 in Ribeirão Preto , state of São Paulo ) was a Brazilian religious and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Ribeirão Preto .

Life

Félix César da Cunha Vasconcellos joined the Congregation of the Franciscan at and received on 1 November 1933, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On March 30, 1949, Pope Pius XII appointed him . to the Bishop of Penedo . The Archbishop of Florianópolis , Joaquim Domingues de Oliveira , donated him episcopal ordination on June 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Lages , Daniel Henrique Hostin OFM, and the Bishop of Botucatu , Henrique Golland Trindade, OFM.

On April 3, 1957, Pius XII appointed him. the Titular Archbishop of Verissa and Koadjutorerzbischof of Florianópolis. Pope Paul VI appointed him on March 25, 1965 Archbishop of Ribeirão Preto.

Félix César da Cunha Vasconcellos participated in the second and fourth session of the Second Vatican Council .
