Daniel Henrique Hostin OFM (born April 2, 1890 in Gaspar , Santa Catarina , Brazil , † November 17, 1973 ) was Bishop of Lages .

Life

Daniel Henrique Hostin joined the Congregation of the Franciscan at and received on 30 November 1917, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On August 2, 1929, Pope Pius XI appointed him . to the first bishop of Lages. The Archbishop of Florianópolis , Joaquim Domingues de Oliveira , donated him episcopal ordination on September 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Barra do Piraí , Guilherme Müller , and the Bishop of Joinville , Pio de Freitas Silveira CM .
