Bernardo José Bueno Miele

Bernardo José Bueno Miele (born September 10, 1923 in São Bernardo do Campo , State of São Paulo , Brazil , † December 22, 1981 ) was a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Ribeirão Preto .

Life

Bernardo José Bueno Miele received on 8 December 1950, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On November 22, 1962, Pope John XXIII appointed him . the titular bishop of Bararus and auxiliary bishop in Campinas . The Archbishop of Campinas, Paulo de Tarso Campos , donated him episcopal ordination on February 10 of the following year . Co- consecrators were the coadjutor archbishop of São Paulo , Antônio Maria Alves de Siqueira, OFM, and the archbishop of Ribeirão Preto, Agnelo Rossi .

He took part in the second, third and fourth sessions of the Second Vatican Council as a Council Father.

Pope Paul VI appointed him on January 25, 1967 titular archbishop pro hac vice of Uppenna and coadjutor archbishop of Ribeirão Preto.

With the death of Félix César da Cunha Vasconcellos ' OFM on July 12, 1972, he succeeded this as Archbishop of Ribeirão Preto.
