Mount Hercules is a mountain of 2200 m height with a flattened summit, which looms between Mount Aeolus and Mount Jason in the Olympus Range in East Antarctica Victoria Land.
Participants in a campaign carried out from 1958 to 1959 as part of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions named him after Hercules , a demigod from Greek mythology known for his physical strength .
