Mount Hobbs is a 1,135 m high mountain in Queen Elizabeth Land in West Antarctica . In the Neptune Range of the Pensacola Mountains it rises as the highest point of the Williams Hills .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1956 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Ensign James W. Hobbs of the US Navy, who was used in the Antarctic winter of 1958 The crew at Ellsworth Station .
