Mount Howard is a 1460 m high, dark rocky and rounded mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises about 13 km southeast of Mount Joyce in the Prince Albert Mountains .
Participants of the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott discovered him. Scott named him after Thomas Scott-Ellis, 8th Baron Howard de Walden , who had helped him test transport sleds for the expedition.
