Mount Joyce is a striking, 1830 m high, domed mountain in the Prince Albert Mountains of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises eight miles northwest of Mount Howard .
Participants in the Nimrod expedition (1907-1909), led by the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton, discovered him. The mountain is named after the polar explorer Ernest Joyce (1875–1940), a participant in the expedition.
