Mount Hubley is a prominent, remote, and snow-capped mountain in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises west of Mount Hale in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1957 and 1959. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1960 after the American glaciologist Richard C. Hubley (1926–1957), a member of the technical committee on glaciology on the United States National Committee for the International Geophysical Year (1957–1958).
