Mount Hale is a 3595 m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 2.4 km northwest of Mount Davis in the main ridge of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
He was discovered by the so-called Marie Byrd Land Traverse Party , a team mainly to explore the Marie Byrd Land between 1957 and 1958. They named the mountain after Daniel Payne Hale (1926-2005), a member of this team and aurora physicist on the Byrd Station .
