Mount Iphigene is a 1088 m high mountain in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . In the Ford Ranges it rises west of the Ochs Glacier between the Marujupu Peak and the Birchall Peaks in the western section of the Fosdick Mountains .
Scientists of the first Antarctic expedition (1928-1930) under the direction of the American polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd discovered him. Byrd named him after Iphigene Ochs Sulzberger (1892-1990), daughter of Adolph Ochs and wife of Arthur Hays Sulzberger , both of whom were sponsors of the expedition.
