Mount Kathleen is a mountain in Antarctica's Ross Dependency . With a height of around 900 m it is the highest peak of the Ebony Ridge at the northern end of the Commonwealth Range in the Transantarctic Mountains .
Participants in the Nimrod expedition (1907-1909), led by the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton, discovered him. The mountain is named after Shackleton's eldest sister Kathleen Shackleton (1884–1961).
